Date Night

Second post for today! I went out on a date with my boyfriend tonight, and changed out of the shirt, shoes and blazer that I had been wearing all day.

Studded collar shirt from Zara, Blazer is a vintage Laura Ashley number that used to be my Mums, and shoes are also Cocovia Berlin. I love the orange colour and the heel is surprisingly easy to walk in!

Typical.

I had a day off for the first time in quite a while today, so I decided to spend it with family. I had coffee and lunch with my parents, went on to do a bit of shopping for my sisters wedding, and saw my Grandparents. Today's outfit is very typical of what I enjoy wearing when I've got a day off and the weather is cool enough to wear a few layers. This is my favourite blazer in the world. I bought it at the beginning of the year in Berlin, and I can't stop touching the velvet elbow patches every time I pull it out f the closet.

Wearing Zara Blazer, H&M blouse, Lovisa pendant, Levis high waisted skinny Jeans, Sports girl felt hat, Zara satchel and Cocovia Berlin flats.

Tattoos, Stockings or Diseased?

I've had very mixed reviews from friends and family about the Alannah Hill Stockings I bought on Saturday. One friend assumed that I had always had roses tattooed all over my legs, another thought I had a skin disease. I think they are an adorable  homage to Betty Boop or the 50's. Few share my opinion, but I don't particularly mind.

Mustard and Blue

It was surprisingly warm today, so I took the opportunity to wear some of my summery items before winter forces me to shove them to the back of my cupboard.

Review Tammy Dress with the Bella Cardi and matching mustard belt. My shoes are from rivers of all places, and my bag is an old trusty satchel from Zara. They have something similar in cute colours here.

Sunny Winter Day

Brisbane is beginning to get colder, despite being sunny and dry. I love it when this happens, as it gives me an excuse to wear a hat.

Showing my love for Review again today: wearing their Phoebe Dress with a felt hat that I bought last year before going to Splendour in the Grass. Dorothy Perkins boots, Coach satchel and vintage belt.
This photograph may be the only evidence that I have two eyes when I wear this hat.

Red and Black Uniform

Whenever I don't know what to wear, or I can't be bothered to be creative, I wear a mixture of red, white or black. If it's cold and I'm being lazy, I wear my Boss Black Blazer. It's been a big week for creativity, so I threw on what might just be my favourite dress. Unbelievable comfortable, trans-seasonal, red, intricate lace detail. I need to make sure I don't wear it every day.

Wearing the Beth Lace Dress by Review (same cut here), Lovisa Tassle Necklace, Cliffton International heeled brogues (similar here) and an Etiquette by Mindy Mason bag.

Work, Then Play

Today I went straight from work to watch another performance of Machinal. This outfit posting business is going to be a lot less exciting once the show is over. For work this morning I popped on the Marika Dress with my comfy London Rebel booties. They were dirt cheap and do nothing to support my feet, but are super comfy. I also wore an old velvet headband that I've had for a zillion years.
For the show, I kept the same shoes on, but wore an Alannah Hill skirt (similar here), Vintage black lace top, and my trusty vintage coach satchel.

Machinal Opening Event: 20's!

Not something I would wear everyday. When someone says there is a theme, I take them VERY seriously.
Dress from It's Vintage Darling, Shoes by Joanne Mercer, Head Piece from Diva (Similar here), Watch by Skagen , lollypop was yummy.

My friend Maddi wore a stunning vintage dress and RMK shoes.

Military Meets Winter Woolies

I've been told by a few people that I should start posting photographs of what I wear, so here goes. I love fashion, and try to put together new outfits every day, despite seldom buying new products. I'm currently assistant directing a performance of Machinal by Sophie Treadwell. Our preview night was last night, and here's what I wore. Apologies for the terrible quality, my DSLR was out of battery.

Wearing: Jeanswest leggings, Dorothy Perkins Boots, Cheap Monday Cowl neck Jumper (bought from Apartment Berlin), Hugo Boss Blazer, Vintage Coach leather satchel, and a Pull&Bear beret.

Until next time!
